I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t in pursuit of a very big goal.
— Tracy Silver
A. I needed a challenge
B. I craved an escape
Being diagnosed with what is commonly referred to today as OCD at the age of three, my mother was given the choice: Ritalin or Ballet.
She chose Ballet.
The focus, concentration and patience required for such a Classical discipline not only healed me, but set me into a lifelong love affair for artistic pursuits.
My interests and abilities have grown across many years and resulted with the good fortune of a multidisciplinary career.
I believe anyone who enters the world of art initially does so from absolute need, passion and desire. Keeping that fire burning is the true test and through all my accomplishments and failures, the one thing I am most proud of is the constant flame that still burns in me to keep on my own pursuit …and to help others on theirs.
